The Samsung washing machine is a loyal friend who is always ready to take on the dirty work. But what to do if the assistant suddenly “goes silent”, and the drum stubbornly refuses to spin? Do not panic, because this problem can often be solved on your own!
Causes of the malfunction
- The drain hose is a kind of “road” for dirty water. Foreign objects (buttons, coins, hair) become an obstacle to free drainage. You may need Samsung muldy gasket cleaning.
- The belt is a “bridge” connecting the motor and the drum. If it comes off or breaks, the drum simply will not receive a “signal” to spin.
- Sometimes the malfunction lies in the very “heart” of the washing machine – the motor. A burnt-out motor is already a serious problem. You will need a qualified technician who can replace the motor.
- The electronic board is the “brain” of the washing machine. If it fails, the equipment “forgets” how to spin the drum. Unfortunately, it is impossible to repair the board yourself.

How to fix the problem?
- Check the drain hose. Disconnect it and clean it from debris.
- Inspect the drive belt. Check if it has slipped, and tighten it if necessary.
- Check the fuse. Make sure that the fuse responsible for the washing machine has not burned out.
- Restart the machine. Disconnect it from the mains for a few minutes, and then turn it on again.
- Review the settings. Make sure that you have selected the correct washing mode.
- Do not try to “open” and repair the washing machine yourself if you are not confident in your abilities.
