Women who come to the issue of skin rejuvenation should know about the existence of a method such as plasmolifting. What is it? In fact, this is an old and kind, but successfully forgotten autohemotherapy, namely: the patient’s introduction into the muscle tissue of his own venous blood. It has long been known that such injections stimulate the immune system of the whole organism, strengthening and accelerating in it metabolic processes.
Plasmolifting technique.
A few modified and improved autohemotherapy in use to cosmetology has become called plasmolifting, and it consists in the fact that the blood taken from Vienna is not administered immediately, but previously centrifuges, dividing into several fractions. Then, part of the plasma is selected by platelets and introduce it with the help of thin needles subcutaneously or intradermally into those places of the body (usually faces) that require tightening. The method is based on the fact that an increase in the number of platelets per unit of plasma is 9-10 times causes a significant increase in regenerative factors in the stimulation zone. In the deep layers of the skin, the connective tissue begins to intensively secrete collagen and elastin, t. these proteins that are responsible for the elasticity of the skin.
Advantages of plasmolifting.
Undoubtedly, the effect of the procedure of point injections of blood plasma is present and it can be compared with shallow surgical lifting of the skin of the face and neck. True, the results of the week are manifested in two – the skin is noticeably smoothed out, small wrinkles are removed almost completely.
One of the important advantages of the method is its availability and small trauma experienced by time.
Plasmolifting has proven itself as a way of restoring the skin after various types of traumatic peeling, for example, after chemical peeling
Basically, the anti -aging effect is achieved in two procedures with a break of two weeks.
Disadvantages of plasmolifting.
The main disadvantage of the method of point infusion of blood plasma, enriched with platelets, is the likelihood of inflammation of the skin at the place of plasma administration – because blood is the best environment for the development of microbes. This means that the method is not applicable to patient, infected skin, and is also contraindicated in persons suffering from any chronic diseases in the exacerbation phase.
Another disadvantage of the method can be considered its inefficiency in adulthood – plasmolifting does not guarantee the lifting of the oval of the face.
